More Than a Serving Board
Like the mountain bongo itself — rare, refined, and quietly striking — this is more than serveware.
It’s a piece that tells a story, elevates your presentation, and becomes part of your moments over time.
Conservation Commitment — The Mountain Bongo
Inspired by Kenya’s rare and majestic Mountain Bongo — a critically endangered forest antelope found only in the Aberdare and Mount Kenya regions — the Bongo Collection from vituzote.com celebrates the beauty, resilience, and heritage of one of Africa’s most extraordinary animals. With fewer than 100 believed to remain in the wild due to habitat loss and poaching, this collection was created not only to honour the Bongo’s distinctive stripes and graceful form, but also to support conservation efforts aimed at increasing the wild population to 750 bongos by 2050. A portion of proceeds from every purchase will support conservation and habitat restoration initiatives through intended partnerships with Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy and The Mountain Bongo Project. Through craftsmanship inspired by nature, each piece becomes part of a larger story rooted in preservation, sustainability, and purposeful living.
